WAYNE, N.J. -- Grand Union Co. put the spotlight on in-store prepared salads in its deli ad earlier this month.

Above the color photos, the ad reads, "Party Salad Sampler -- Select 3 1-lb. containers of the following in-store prepared salads: potato salad, Greek pasta salad, macaroni salad, Oriental green beans, coleslaw, shell vegetable salad."

Officials at Grand Union could not be reached for comment last week.
