Sam's Club Adds Military Membership Category

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Sam's Club here said it has added a new military membership as a permanent offering to its membership portfolio for active and retired military personnel.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Sam's Club here said it has added a new military membership as a permanent offering to its membership portfolio for active and retired military personnel.

Sam's said it will provide a $15 Sam's gift card with each primary membership when qualifying individuals join or renew as Advantage or Advantage-Plus members.

Sam's also said it will repeat its annual cane giveaway Nov. 9-11, in collaboration with AMG Medical — distributing 36,000 canes, with a retail value of $29.99 each, to veterans in need of mobility assistance.

“We're proud to give back to veterans since they have given so much to us,” said Mike Turner, senior vice president, membership.
