Friends of the Industry co-founders Bill Kies, president and principal of Kies Consulting, and Mike Gorshe, president of The Gorshe Group, hosted the 20th annual dinner.
Leslie Sarasin, president and CEO of FMI-The Food Industry Association, made an appearance at the Friends of the Industry XX Dinner, held at the 2022 FMI Midwinter Conference.

Friends of the Industry co-founder Bill Kies noted that the dinners have raised $1.275 million for charity since their inception.
