SpartanNash has partnered with humanitarian and disaster relief organization Convoy of Hope to get the donated products into the hands of Ukrainians who fled their besieged country.
The supplies are slated to be shipped to Poland, where Convoy of Hope has a response team on the ground.
Energy bars, shelf-stable entrees, soup and baby formula are among the items being donated.
According to Convoy of Hope, the top needs are food, water, and personal hygiene and health care items.
