SN Top 10: Giant, Save Mart, Loblaw top the week's headlines

In this week’s recap of the Top 10 most popular Supermarket News articles, Giant Food making online grocery pickup a free service ranked as the week’s top story. Landover, Md.-based Giant said that same-day Giant Pickup service, with orders ready within four hours of purchase, is now available at no charge via the grocer’s 159 pickup sites. Previously, click-and-collect service carried an everyday fee of $2.95. Among other stories in this week’s gallery:

In other news, The Save Mart Cos. has expanded a marketing program with electric vehicle (EV) charging partner EVgo Inc. to more of its stores. Called EVgo Advantage, the platform allows drivers to use promotions delivered from EVgo once a charging session is initiated at a participating store.
