Mrs. Green’s Natural Market this week makes its long awaited arrival in New York City, bringing new supplier partners, a new logo and a stronger-than-ever emphasis on local products.
At a preview event Monday, officials of parent company Natural Markets Food Group and a host of vendors showed off the new store, a two-level unit in the well-to-do West Village neighborhood. Although in the planning stages for nearly two years, the store is the first Mrs. Green’s to open under CEO Pat Brown, who joined the company a year ago, and reflects adjustments in merchandising and assortment he’d discussed with SN.
