CobornsDelivers Adds Commuter Delivery Spot

CobornsDelivers is adding another commuter spot to its delivery destinations. Beginning tomorrow, Northstar Commuter Rail travelers can order groceries online and pick them up at the Coon Rapids-Riverdale Station in Coon Rapids, Minn.

NEW HOPE, Minn. — CobornsDelivers here is adding another commuter location to its delivery destinations. Beginning tomorrow, Northstar Commuter Rail travelers can order groceries online and pick them up at the Coon Rapids-Riverdale Station in Coon Rapids, Minn.

This summer the online grocer launched the state's first grocery delivery service for park-and-ride commuters when it began delivering to the Southwest Park and Ride lot in Eden Prairie, Minn.

Northstar commuters who place their orders by 10 a.m. can pick up their groceries at the station between 4 and 7 p.m. weekdays. Delivery is free on orders of $25 or more.

Orders will be distributed from yellow CobornsDelivers delivery trucks stationed near the park-and-ride lot's exits. Insulated totes will keep foods fresh, cold or frozen for hours, according to CobornsDelivers.

“We’ve seen steady growth in our orders for the Southwest Park and Ride Lot in Eden Prairie,” said Sue Westerman, vice president of e-marketing for CobornsDelivers, in a statement. “Northstar is another great opportunity for CobornsDelivers to help commuters save even more time and money on the freshest groceries in town.”
