That transfer process which Rite Aid said would leave it with about 2575 stores began in November 2017 with the handoff of 97 stores but as of the close of the Top 75 research cycle company officials had not publicized a detailed timetable for the transfer of the remaining stores. Consumables sales for the 2017-18 fiscal year reflect an estimated 32.2% share of total estimated retail pharmacy division sales of $24.79 billion with the remaining 67.8% share of sales attributed to prescription drug sales. Rite Aid total sales for fiscal 2017-18 including those for prescription drug and pharmacy services are estimated to be $30.28 billion which would compare with fiscal 2016-17 reported sales of $32.85 billion.
