Barnana
Organic Sea Salt Plantain Crisps
Craving something crispy, savory and planet-friendly? Then look no further than Barnana's snack-worthy plantain crisps! A certified B Corp and Founding Member of the Upcycled Food Association, Barnana has upcycled more than 6 million bananas and plantains per year, saving them from becoming greenhouse gas-emitting food waste and creating a revenue stream for produce that otherwise would go to waste. These flaky, layered crisps are unlike any chip on the market. Made from whole foods and simple ingredients, these salty snacks are gluten free, grain free and Paleo friendly. One serving contains 18 grams of carbohydrates: an excellent snack for everyone, even diabetics.
Big Picture Foods
Regeneratively Farmed Organic Red Pepper Strips
These antioxidant- and probiotic-rich peppers taste as if they were picked from your garden. Their amazing flavor comes from being sun-ripened, grown in nutrient-rich regenerative soil, and from being hand-picked to fermenting on-site in hours. Their unique fermentation process uses naturally present cultures from only three ingredients (artesian mineral water, sea salt and organic kosher wine vinegar) and time. Big Picture Foods' vertical supply chain is traceable, transparent and 100% centered on regenerative agriculture. According to the brand, these velvety red pepper strips are the only prepared organic pepper on the market able to be free of additives/stabilizers with packaging that utilizes post-consumer recycled materials.
Navitas Organics
ROC Certified Cacao Powder
This proud Certified B Corp holds the distinction of the first company to offer a Regenerative Organic Certified Cacao Powder to consumers. We love how Navitas Organics recognizes and empowers farmers who use holistic and indigenous practices that respect the entire ecosystem and surrounding communities. These practices increase biodiversity and conserve natural resources, creating an environmentally friendly food chain that helps strengthen local economies and communities that are crucial components to addressing economic and social inequality on a global level. This smooth 100% cacao powder is USDA Organic and Fairtrade, indulging not only our senses but also our food ethics.
One Degree Organics
Sprouted Apple Cinnamon Instant Oatmeal
Start the day off right and banish breakfast cravings with this cozy blend of oats and other sustainably grown ingredients including quinoa, hemp and cardamom. Sweetened with only coconut sugar, this apple-cinnamon instant oatmeal is perfectly representative of the brand's ongoing commitment to 100% sourcing transparency and its belief in the connection between healthy soil, plants, and people. This product—notably Non-Glyphosate Certified, USDA Organic, Certified Vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified and Certified Gluten-Free—is purposely sold in a multi-serve format to reduce the use of packaging materials. It is also delicious and can be prepared in less than 3 minutes by adding boiling water or heating in the microwave.
Philosopher Foods
Stone-Ground Chocolate Coconut Butter
As the maker of the world's first Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) chocolate coconut butter, Philosopher Foods has created a holistically healthful, ethical and ecological indulgence for consumers and grocers to enjoy decadence without degenerating their health, workers/farmers or the planet. Over half of the brand's farmers graze cattle on their coconut estates, converting weeds and grass into manure, stimulating growth of plant roots and sequestering CO2. The company has initiated a four-year regenerative agroforestry project, starting with establishing eight model farms that will later be rolled out at scale based on findings from the pilot. These trailblazers are the first and only nut butter company that is certified Glyphosate Residue Free.
The Republic of Tea
Chai Stackable Tea Tin
This Certified Elephant Friendly stackable chai tea trio helps keep consumers feeling good inside and out. This delicious trio includes Mushroom Cacao Chai, Bold Green Chai and Bold Black Chai blends. The tea leaves are harvested from a Certified Elephant Friendly tea garden committed to the protection of Asian elephants and their habitats. The tea growers allow elephants to travel through their tea gardens without getting harmed by electric fences, power lines, ditches or human conflict. The Republic of Tea remains socially responsible by being mindful of the impact actions has on communities and the environment.
Willa's Oat Milk
Organic Dark Chocolate Oat Milk
This whole oat, cacao and maple sugar blend creates a brownie-like taste using organic ingredients and not just sugar. What began as an heirloom family recipe for oat milk turned into a proprietary, zero-waste, oat-milling process designed to yield maximum nutritional density while minimizing environmental impact. Willa's approach uses the entire whole grain oat, not only to reduce food waste but to take advantage of the oats' complete nutrient profile: prebiotic fibers, plant-based proteins and other wellness-supporting substances such as beta-glucans, vitamin B and gramine. The oats are blended with Raaka's cacao—sourced directly from Indigenous Peruvian farmers who earn higher than Fair-Trade wages—and a touch of maple sugar.
A Dozen Cousins
Caribbean Coconut Rice Seasoning Sauce
Rice is a staple food across the globe, yet many people in underserved communities in the U.S. face economic obstacles to living a healthy lifestyle, placing them at greater risk for obesity, diabetes and other diet-related illnesses. A Dozen Cousins creates products such as Caribbean Coconut Rice that are accessible to everyone and help families improve what they eat and live longer lives. In addition, A Dozen Cousins provides annual grants and volunteer support to non-profit organizations that work to eliminate socio-economic health disparities, including The Happy Kitchen and LA Community Fridges. This philanthropy is supported by a tasty, easy-to-use seasoning sauce created with non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free ingredients and without added sugars.
Hand in Hand Soap
Rosemary Lemon Foaming Hand Soap
Unsustainable palm oil use is still an enormous problem in personal care, so it's important to elevate products such as Hand in Hand Soap's line of vegan and responsibly sourced hand soaps. Adding to its sustainability factor, the Rosemary Lemon Foaming Hand Soap is housed in infinitely recyclable aluminum packaging, and the company is developing a first-of-its-kind recyclable bottle pump. It doesn't hurt that it smells lovely, either. For each bottle sold, Hand in Hand Soap donates a bar of soap and water to children across the globe.
La Colombe Coffee Roasters
Lyon
For La Colombe, Lyon is true coffee for a cause. The mission is to advance change in America by ensuring equitable access to nutritious food, so $2 of every box sold supports anti-hunger nonprofit Feeding America. La Colombe uses its fan-favorite roast to drive change, raise donations and partner with organizations that work to positively impact communities. Through Lyon, La Colombe created partnerships with organizations such as the ACLU, Vote.org and The Loveland Foundation to support women's rights in the workplace, racial inequity, voter education and mental health. Additionally, the company's integrated vertical supply chain that fairly supports producers makes sipping good coffee feel better.
Once Upon a Farm
Farmer Jen's Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookie
A hearty, healthy snack that gives back, Jen's Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookie is a treat you can feel good about adding to your kid's lunch box or as an on-the-go snack. Created with pumpkin, coconut milk and other clean ingredients, the cookie recipe contains no added sugar. For every pouch purchased, $0.25 is donated to Save the Children to help kids in rural America —part of Once Upon a Farm's A Million Meals initiative, dedicated to helping deliver 1 million nutritious meals to kids in food insecure communities. Every purchase of these wholesome snacks brings healthy back to snack time.
Ziba Foods
Baby Pistachio Kernels
Ziba baby pistachios are a healthy munchable snack but it's the company's origin-focused mission that inspires us to seek these out. Ziba Foods Baby Pistachio Kernels are entirely sourced and processed in Afghanistan, where the company works closely with farmers and cooperatives, pays fair prices for the best product, and supports and improves the role of women in Afghan society. Ziba's workforce is 80% women, and the company offers them year-round employment despite the cyclical nature of agriculture. Bringing these delectable nuts to market requires persistent engagement and outstanding integrity.
Airly
Oat Cloud Crackers Cheddar
Airly, which calls its crackers "the first climate positive snack," works with farmers to use regenerative agriculture practices and capture more carbon than is produced in making the crackers. It undertakes seed-to-shelf accounting on the carbon capture, as well. Airly has done this at a price point, $3.49, that doesn't draw a second look—proof that many companies can do more to produce climate-friendly products for consumers of modest means. We hope other brands making similar claims at higher price points will look at Airly as an example.
Applegate Farms
Applegate Naturals Do Good Dog
"How the sausage is made," an expression referring to the nitty-gritty of unsightly production techniques, doesn't apply to Applegate's Do Good Dog hot dogs. This brand shows consumers and the larger meat industry that mass-market hot dogs can be produced with care for animals and land. The Do Good Dog is made with regeneratively sourced beef, the kind of meat consumers typically need to hunt down at farmers markets and high-end butchers. Applegate's bringing regenerative meat into supermarkets proves the meat industry help the planet. Applegate is leading a conversation to bring the impact to the scale that's required. We may not want to think about how hot dogs are made, but we'd like to think that Applegate's example can be followed.
Hart Dairy
Pasture-Raised and Grass-Fed Chocolate Whole Milk
Making sense of labels in the eggs and dairy case is not simple. "cage free" doesn't always mean what consumers think it does. Companies such as Hart Dairy are boldly defining what "pasture-raised" and "grass-fed" mean: The cows are outside in the pastures, eating grass, 365 days a year. The regenerative practices and eco-packaging take more explaining, but the brand is nailing it there, too. We like to think that even claims like cage-free that often fall short are a step that takes the consumer in the right direction. Hart Dairy has shown us where those steps can lead. And they are showing us with delicious chocolate milk.
Nutiva
Organic Avocado Oil
Avocado oil is having a moment. With a high smoke point, the oil has found a privileged place in the pantry as the must-have staple for keto dieters, as well as for the appliance of the moment, the air fryer. It turns out, avocado oil was the oil we didn't know we all needed. The ascent to that prime position comes as people have become aware of labor, supply chain and environmental issues around avocados grown in Mexico and California. Nutiva arrives at that intersection of opportunity and challenge with an avocado oil that is organic and sustainably grown in a way that supports 78,000 Ethiopian farmers who raise avocados regeneratively alongside coffee trees.
Renewal Mill
Upcycled Vesta Matcha Chip Cookie Mix
Most people don't know how tofu is made, much less that the leftover soybean pulp can be transformed into Renewal Mill's okara flour, the base of these tasty cookies. Renewal Mill builds its entire business around upcycling, using ingredients typically discarded during production. Additionally, the company sources from a carefully curated list of suppliers—including Vesta Chocolate, a bean-to-bar craft chocolate factory, for these cookies—and uses only organic ingredients. Those practices matter to some consumers; the cookies' good taste will matter to all and it might introduce a few to the good work Renewal Mill is doing.
Seven Sundays
Maple Sea Salt Sunflower Cereal
The term "first-to-market upcycled plant-based sunflower protein" is a mouthful, but it's a mouthful with some admirable qualities. Seven Sunday helps familiarize consumers with upcycled products, those made with ingredients typically discarded in processing. In this case, sunflower protein fits nicely into an eight-ingredient list. That the sunflowers were grown regeneratively before the processing boosts environmental credentials to complement Seven Sundays' Certified B Corp standing. Though still a direct-to-consumer offering, we expect Seven Sundays could find a place in the cereal aisle with stores that want to highlight planet-friendly sourcing.
The Urgent Company
Brave Robot Climate Hero Super Cake Mix
Looking to indulge in the creamy, delicious taste of cake made with milk and eggs, but prefer not to eat animal products? Brave Robot is using Perfect Day’s animal-free milk proteins to replace eggs in its Climate Hero Super Cake Mix. Same delicious taste and nutrition, but no cows or chickens involved! They’re also providing the mix in a compostable bag made from sustainably sourced wood cellulose. You can have your cake and feel good about it too. Of course, you’ll feel even better about it if you eat it with some of Brave Robot’s ice cream.
True Grace
One Daily Women's Multivitamin
The supplement industry has a plastics problem. All those bottles have a slim chance of getting into a recycling bin and an even slimmer chance of being recycled. The situation that screams for innovation, and True Grace comes at it with 100% recycled plastic bottles and refills sold in pouches, with a share of each purchase helping the Seabin Project harvest ocean plastic. True Grace is tackling the industry's sourcing problem, as well, by using regeneratively grown ingredients that provide the promised efficacy. For the One Daily Women's Multivitamin, True Grace has added ingredients specific to women's needs such as ashwagandha and holy basil, Ayurvedic herbs used to relieve stress. By facing the plastic problem, using regenerative sourcing and providing thoughtful formulation, True Grace is making waves, and we hope the rest of the supplement industry follows.
Four Sigmatic
Think Functional Creamer
Four Sigmatic's line of creamers aims to bring more transparency and clean ingredients to the emerging "functional creamers" category. These coconut-based powdered creamers—made with real cacao, coconut milk, MCT oil and plentiful amounts of functional mushrooms such as lion's mane, reishi and cordyceps—support improved focus, gut health and immunity. The creamers build on the brand's unique mushroom heritage and mission of bringing healthy and accessible upgrades to coffee routines everywhere. The company is so named because of a focus on the fourth "sigma," the 100 most-studied, most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. Every batch is outsourced to third-party testing labs to ensure quality.
Free Rain
Arousal
Arousal is the first and only ready-to-drink beverage to naturally nourish libido, enhance sexual energy and support hormonal balance using the adaptogenic herb maca. Free Rain hopes that promoting a sexual wellness product in the beverage aisle can help lower the stigma of sex and promote a more inclusive society that accepts sexual health as integral to overall health and well-being. The cans and packaging are recyclable, and the brand donates 1% of each sale to support the environment as a member of 1% for the Planet.
Garden of Flavor
Turmeric Ginger Energy Elixir
Garden of Flavor's cold-pressed Turmeric Ginger Energy Elixir is blended with guayusa, providing 110 milligrams of caffeine to support energy, improved focus and overall well-being. In addition to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory powers, the juice includes 1 billion CFUs of probiotics to support gut health. The company sources turmeric from a small family farm in the volcanic mountains of Hawaii because of its high levels of curcumin. High-quality ginger is sourced from Peru.
Goldthread Tonics
Instant Chill Tonic Shot

But the main attraction, the wild boar, is notable and makes the sausage a sensation beyond its savory, satisfying flavor. Wild boar is an invasive species worldwide, and there are millions just in Texas. They're "free range," as they roam the vast Texas landscape both on public and private land, and wreak havoc on the environment, causing crop destruction, car accidents, and water pollution. Force of Nature sources these feral hogs from ranchers and hunters who trap them, protecting the state from their destruction.
