NEW YORK -- Elsie the Cow, created by Borden 60 years ago, was feted in Manhattan's Bryant Park here last week as one of the century's Top 10 icons. It was here during the 1939 World's Fair that the public was first introduced to Elsie. The celebration included a temporary headquarters for the famous cow, complete with an actual barn, white picket fence and hay.
