Baker's Appoints Assistant Directors
ets here has named Scott Longfellow assistant director of deli. He assumes the former responsibilities of Craig Cummins, who has been appointed assistant director of deli and bakery for Baker's warehouse format operations, a new position.
Longfellow had been director of deli and bakery operations for 22-unit Boogaart's Supermarkets, Concordia, Kan. He was there for eight years.
Cummins began his career with Baker's 30 years ago as a carryout clerk. He progressed to store director and then held other leadership posts including assistant director of restaurant operations and assistant director of deli.
In their new posts, Longfellow and Cummins both report to George Kapalczynski, director of food service and bakery for the 18-unit chain.
