IGA Names Senior Vice President
ane Martin has been named senior vice president.
Martin reports to Thomas Haggai, chairman and chief executive officer. As second in command, Martin directs all day-to-day global activities for IGA, which includes more than 3,600 stores.
Before taking the new position, Martin served as vice president.
President Leaves D'Agostino Post
LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- D'Agostino Supermarkets here said Ronald J. Nevers, president, has resigned from the company.
D'Agostino does not have immediate plans to fill the position, according to a spokeswoman. The company said Nevers left to own and operate a supermarket in New Egypt, N.J., supplied by Supervalu, Minneapolis.
