NAPLES, Fla. -- The rest of the nation may have been cold, but a hot topic and balmy weather drew more than 400 attendees to the first-ever Global Exchange Summit here, Jan. 7-9. Food industry officials came to hear the latest news from major B2B exchanges like Transora, GlobalNetXchange and WorldWide Retail Exchange. Updates on standards and state-of-the-art supply-chain collaboration were also given. Attendees included retailers, vendors, packaged goods manufacturers and on-line B2B services and tech vendors.
