The recipe guide offers serving suggestions as well as preparation tips for chicken and meat entrees, potatoes, rice, breads, casseroles, and breakfast and dessert items.
One retailer, executive chef Brian Nunzio Merlo, at Big Bear Supermarkets, Columbus, Ohio, particularly praised the accuracy of the cooking times and settings in Hobart's recipe guide. Merlo said he uses the guide with a Hobart combination oven/steamer for a whole range of menu items from hard-cooked eggs to pastries.
