In Albertson's main baby section, 8 feet are devoted to wipes, with Albertson's wipes again at eye level on two shelves. Products include Albertson's regular wipes in plastic containers, refills, pull-ups, and Albertson's Natural Aloe Baby Wipes, priced at two for $5. Publix Super Markets also promotes its wipes, with point-of-sale material comparing its 80-count wipes for $1.99 to Huggies 80-count wipes for $3.39. Publix' travel pack was touted at 89 cents for a 16-pack, while Huggies brand was $1.39.

Winn-Dixie Stores promoted Stackables with a "Buy Two and Receive Checkout Coupon for $1 Off" offer. This chain has no private-label wipes, but carries a good mix of national brands, including Chubs Stackables, Luvs, Pampers, Diaperene and Kuddles.

Food Lion has 4 feet of baby wipes, but prominently displays its brand on the top three shelves. Its 80-count wipes were priced at $1.99, while Pamper's 96-count package sold for $3.49. Food Lion also featured a box of small Travel Pack wipes on the top shelf, 16-count for 99 cents.

Gooding's Supermarkets cross merchandises baby items like toothbrushes and toys, on metal clip strips, along an 8-foot section of wipes. At Gooding's, Pampers Baby Fresh wipes were on sale for $3.99 during SN's visit, while Huggies Natural Care wipes were selling for $3.79 and $3.49 with Gooding's frequent-shopper card.
