New Report on Retailers, Suppliers
al Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association here has published a report on retailers' relationships with their suppliers.
Called "Industry Issues and Opinions," the 16-page roundup identifies issues affecting success and offers suggestions on how to improve business partnerships. Supermarket bakery, deli and dairy professionals are among the 250 respondents who participated in the report's "open dialogue" with wholesalers, distributors and brokers.

Steve's Mom Serves Two New Items
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Steve's Mom Inc. here has added two new products to its line of cookies and pastries.
Rugelach is now available in a New York cheesecake flavor. Steve's Mom has also added a hazelnut milk chocolate chip flavor to its line of Vienna pralines.
Like other Steve's Mom's products, these are certified kosher dairy.

Pillsbury Adds Five Cookie Flavors
MINNEAPOLIS -- Pillsbury Bakeries & Foodservice here has added five new flavors to its line of Special Recipe cookies. The flavors are chocolate covered peanut, chocolate covered raisins, ranger (oatmeal with coconut and chocolate chips), chocolate chunk with Macadamia nuts and white chocolate chunk with Macadamia nuts.
The frozen dough is preportioned in 1.5-ounce pieces.
Pillsbury Bakeries & Foodservice, a division of Grand Metropolitan PLC, manufactures bakery items for in-store and retail bakeries and food-service operations.
