Vans Warped Tour Live on DVD
oneer Entertainment here released for the first time on DVD Vans Warped Tour Live featuring footage from the 2002 concert tour. The release will be supported by a national consumer marketing campaign that will feature retail, radio and online promotions, offering ticket sweepstake giveaways, cross promotions with tour sponsor Vans, and promotion spots featuring talent associated with the event. The Vans Warped Tour combines live music with extreme sports in concert venues across the country each summer. The DVD release features footage of sporting and music events from the tour. The title will be available nationwide with a suggested retail price of $24.98.
Singing For a Contract
CINCINNATI -- Pantene, a Procter & Gamble hair care brand, will join forces with two new program partners for its third annual Pantene Pro-Voice competition this month. MTV and YM magazine will participate along with Atlantic Records. This year's program will be supported by a national television, print, and radio campaign running through July. There will also be an in-store promotion component featuring four million branded download cards that will be included on-pack with select Pantene products. The cards give consumers access to special offers, free music and prizes online. During the competition, female singer/songwriters and female-fronted bands ages 14-24 compete for a grand-prize package that includes a demo-recording contract with Atlantic Records, the opportunity to travel with an established artist, a trip to the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, and distribution of her/their winning song via the Pantene Pro-Voice CD that MTV will create.
