SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion is hosting a 4th of July mobile messaging sweepstakes to encourage membership in its mobile club. Shoppers who text "USA" to 467467 through July 5 will be entered for the chance to win a $100 Food Lion gift card.
If their phone number is not already linked to an MVP loyalty card number they'll be asked to text the number to 467467. Shoppers without an MVP card can sign up for one via text message by following the prompts. Entrants who are not members of Food Lion's mobile club will be asked to join via text message.
Recently, a buy one get one free Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers coupon was automatically loaded to the MVP cards of mobile club members. Another offer was for a $1 off coupon for any 2 Fiber One or Total Cereals.
