TULSA, Okla. — Warehouse Market here, a family-owned grocery chain operating 16 stores throughout Oklahoma, has deployed the NCR RealPOS 80XRT point-of-sale terminal and the NCR RealPOS High Performance Bi-Optic Scanner/Scale at all locations.

The NCR technology, sold and serviced by NCR channel partner Tulsa Cash Register, is designed to help Warehouse Market’s employees optimize customer experience by reducing downtime and wait times at the checkout. The chain also chose the systems to upgrade its POS hardware and take advantage of next-generation POS applications, such as digital promotions and advanced reporting capabilities.

“It is never good when customers are waiting in long lines — whether the cause is slow transactions or down equipment,” said Jana Mercer, IT director at Warehouse Market, in a statement.
