Marsh Adds Angus Beef to Offerings

INDIANAPOLIS — Marsh Supermarkets announced on Friday that it is now offering U.S. Department of Agriculture certified black angus beef in its meat departments.

In a press release, the retailer highlighted  that the choice grade of its new product, Creekstone Farms Premium Black Angus beef, is the same quality grade —upper 2/3 — that is offered in many fine dining restaurants.

“Customers today want to choose from a safe selection of premium steaks and roasts when buying beef for their family’s dinner table,” said Bill Holsworth, CEO of Marsh Supermarkets, in a statement to the media.

"Creekstone Farms acquires its Black Angus beef from farms throughout the Midwest and is widely recognized as one of the leading beef processors in the world focused exclusively on Black Angus beef production. There simply isn’t a better beef sold by anyone in any of the markets where Marsh has a store.”
