Store-Brand Women’s Group Formed

CHICAGO — Kroger and Walgreens are part of a women’s professional development organization that kicked off Sunday at the Private Label Manufacturer Association’s annual trade show here.

Women Impacting Storebrand Excellence (WISE) was formed to foster “diverse collaboration and provide leadership that drives the continued success of the store brands industry.”

Other board members include Laura Sturdevant, director for product development for private brands at Walgreens, and Jennifer Rees, account manager of new business development at Inter-American Products, Kroger’s private-label division.
