CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 1998

RENO, Nev. -- The California Grocers Association hardly showed its age as it celebrated its centennial here last week. The Chairman's Opening Party, pictured here, was probably a lot different than the one members attended during the association's first years, though the spirit of camaraderie and shared objectives may have been similar.

Also prominent during the festivities was Joey Scolari, chief executive officer of Scolari's Food & Drug, Sparks, Nev., who was the CGA's convention chairman, and Peter Larkin, CGA president.
