DRY Soda Co., makers of gourmet sparkling beverages, has received verification from the Non-GMO Project for its Cucumber, Ginger, Lavender, Rhubarb, Juniper, and Blood Orange DRY Sparkling. DRY Sparkling bottles and cans with the Non-GMO Project Verification seal will begin appearing on store shelves nationwide in May 2016.

“Clean ingredients were part of my original inspiration for DRY, so pursuing verification from the Non-GMO Project was a very natural step in highlighting our commitment to transparency and real ingredients,” says Sharelle Klaus, founder and CEO of DRY Soda Co. “We are thrilled that DRY is one of the first carbonated beverage brands to receive the Non-GMO Project Verified seal. While our official verification from the Non-GMO Project is new, our loyal fans will be pleased to know that the DRY beverages they’ve been sipping for years have been made without GMOs the whole time.”

DRY Sparkling quickly achieved Non-GMO Project Verification approvals due to the line’s clean ingredient panel. Verification for the remaining DRY Sparkling flavors is anticipated by February 2016.

The Non-GMO Project offers North America’s only third-party verification for non-GMO food and products, and is committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices.

DRY Sparkling beverages are ideal to sip from a champagne flute, pair with a great meal or mix into a cocktails, say company officials. DRY Sparkling is crisp, well rounded and refreshing. The full line currently includes eight botanically driven flavors: Blood Orange, Ginger, Vanilla Bean, Rhubarb, Lavender, Juniper, Cucumber and Rainier Cherry. Each DRY Sparkling flavor is made with four all natural, non-GMO ingredients, including a touch of cane sugar, allowing the true flavors of each herb, flower and fruit to shine through.

Consumers can find a complete list of all of DRY Sparkling’s Non-GMO Project Verified products at drysparkling.com, www.NonGMOProject.org, and by looking for the Non-GMO Project Verified seal on pack beginning in May.
