Anheuser-Busch and The Fremont Company have teamed up to introduce Budweiser Brewmaster’s Premium Barbecue Sauces. The Fremont Company will produce and distribute them.

Vito Racanelli, Jr., Anheuser-Busch executive chef-on premise, culinary innovation and the executive chef of the Budweiser Taste of St. Louis, unveiled the new sauces at the kickoff party for the 2016 Budweiser Taste of St. Louis. Co-developer and Anheuser-Busch executive chef Sam Niemann was also on hand for the party and announcement, which was held on Aug. 30 at the Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch.

“Anheuser-Busch has the unique resources of on-staff executive chefs backed by the culinary innovations of the Fremont Company,” said Racanelli as attendees enjoyed the first public tastes of the sauce collection. “Chef Niemann and I spent more than six months refining the flavor profiles of the new sauces such that they’re worthy of carrying the Budweiser name.”

The sauces will be available in five flavors: Classic, Sweet & Smoky, Honey, Sweet & Spicy, and Bold & Spicy.

“We couldn’t be more honored to be the first to unveil what is sure to become a nationwide best-selling barbecue sauce collection, right here in Anheuser-Busch’s backyard,” said K. Sonderegger, co-director of the Budweiser Taste of St. Louis. “It’s a culmination of the great partnership we have had over the years with our title sponsor, Budweiser. We’re thrilled to be able to offer exciting new products—in this case that aren’t even available in stores—to our patrons.”
