Emerald has launched a line of cashews that feature bold flavor profiles like Dill Pickle, Jalapeño, Sriracha and Salt & Pepper. Each variety combines the buttery crunch of Emerald Cashews with a blend of spices and ingredients.

The varieties include: Dill Pickle Cashews, which have a crisp and tangy dill pickle flavor, with a touch of garlic seasoning; Jalapeño Cashews, which feature a zesty flavor with the spicy bite of a jalapeño pepper; Sriracha Cashews, which features a spicy red chili and garlic flavor with a hint of vinegar; Salt & Pepper Cashews, which features a classic combination of salt and fresh ground pepper. In addition to a tasty snacking experience, all four of the new Emerald Cashews are Non-GMO Project Verified.

"We're giving cashews their well-overdue moment," says Holly Mensch, vice president of research, development and innovation at Diamond Foods. "It's a unique nut that provides such a scrumptious base for flavors to melt into."

The Emerald Cashews are available in updated, vibrant packaging, bringing new life and energy to the Emerald brand, say company officials.

"Emerald's mission is to reinvent snack nuts by offering an array of new tastes, textures and combinations," says Jennifer Bauer, vice president of marketing at Diamond Foods. "Our updated packaging and tasty new flavors are in sync with Emerald's bold personality, and we're excited to see that come to life on shelves this year."

Select new flavors of Emerald Cashews are currently available at select retailers nationwide and online for a suggested retail price of $3.99. They are available in 5-ounce stand-up resealable bags; 1.25-ounce tubes; and 7-count 0.62-ounce 100 calorie packs.
