Garden Lites Launches Veggie Waffles

Garden Lites is shaking up the $1 billion frozen waffle category with the introduction of Garden Lites made with veggies waffles. 

Made with 23 percent vegetables -- primarily butternut squash and carrot -- according to the manufacturer, the waffles are incredibly fluffy, crispy while being made with only "clean ingredients" and being gluten-free.

Garden Lites Waffles are available in Homestyle and Blueberry varieties, packaged six to a box with a suggested retail price of $3.49.

Reichgut notes that 31 million Americans skip breakfast every day, but now they can add vegetables to what is often billed as the most important meal of the day.
