Hojiblanca USA, which company officials say is the largest producer of extra virgin olive oil in the world, has introduced its product line’s distinctive bottle in the U.S. This style of bottle is called ‘DAMA’ — Spanish for ‘lady,’ they say, adding that the DAMA design has been named Best Packing by the World Packing Organization. The best quality extra virgin olive oil is the one Hojiblanca sells through this exclusive packaging, according to officials for the Dumont, N.J.-based manufacturer.
