Mistica Foods, a woman-owned protein processing and innovation company, revealed a partnership with the Kellogg Company, to launch for the first time ready-to-cook chicken breast bites breaded with Cheez-It original crackers.  The new chicken breast bites are now available to customers in at Wal-Mart stores across the country as well as other national retailers this winter.

The chicken breast bites, made with unmistakable iconic Cheez-It™ real cheese taste and crunch, make a delicious appetizer. This unique protein product brings a flavorful eating experience to consumers in the comfort of their homes.

“We are very pleased to partner with Mistica Foods and be the first to offer a cracker-breaded chicken product to the marketplace” Wendy Davidson, President, U.S. Specialty Channel, Kellogg Company said. “This new product introduction represents an opportunity to expand one of the most beloved brands to a new consumer category” she added.

Using crushed chips and crackers has been an on-trend cooking technique used for years but until now never fully commercialized. As one of America’s most popular brands, Cheez-It® snack crackers are enjoyed daily by baby boomers, millennials and school-aged children alike.

“Mistica Foods is both excited and proud to be able to partner with the Kellogg Company and offer an unique Cheez-It® original cracker breaded, ready-to-cook chicken breast bite with a distinctive taste and amazing flavor,” Monika Rose Walas, President, said.
