Newcastle Brown Ale has introduced its third, limited-edition variety pack brewed in collaboration with Newcastle’s sister brewery, Caledonian, one of the oldest breweries in the U.K. Available at retail beginning this May, Newcastle’s Variety Pack Batch #3 will include the brand’s new Caley Amber Ale in combination with returning, limited edition Newcastle British Pale Ale and flagship Newcastle Brown Ale.

“During the summer, when social gatherings and outdoor celebrations are in full swing, variety packs offer something for all tastes,” says Priscilla Dohnert, brand director. “Our Best of Britain Batch #3 gives shoppers a combination of bigger bolder beers that they can experiment with, and also offers the smooth and full-flavored Newcastle Brown Ale that they already love. This pack gives retailers the opportunity to tap into shoppers’ desire to experiment and offer something for everyone.”

The Best of Britain Batch # 3 includes equal amounts of three distinct and well-rounded offerings: newcomer Newcastle Caley Amber Ale (6.5% ABV, 26 IBUs), a golden amber ale with a sweet malt and raisin aroma, molasses, malt, fruit and spice flavor, and mellow vanilla but warming, chocolate and tangy finish; limited-edition Newcastle British Pale Ale (5.8% ABV, 39 IBUs), an ale with golden hue and an enhanced body, solid hop bitterness and a citrus finish; and flagship, Newcastle Brown Ale (4.7% ABV, 18 IBUs), an auburn colored ale that offers a bread-like aroma, full malt flavors and a light buttery sweetness.
