CHARLESTON, S.C. — A limited-edition holiday brew has been added to the Piggly Wiggly Carolina Co.'s Pig Swig line of craft beer.

Seven Swines 'A Swigging Ale.

A single batch (about 800 cases) of Seven Swines 'A Swigging Ale was brewed locally by the Thomas Creek Brewery, which also supplies the retailer’s Pig Tail Ale and Pig Pen Pilsner.

Seven Swines blends noble and American hops with a touch of holiday spice to deliver a light crisp taste. But it's the brews festive packaging that's winning shoppers over, said Nick Long, beer and wine category manager for Piggly Wiggly.
