The tropical Sprite flavor has returned after more than a decade since it left store shelves. The drink has a new name—Sprite Tropical Mix—and a fresh new look.

Sprite Tropical Mix combines the crisp, familiar Sprite lemon-lime taste with strawberry and pineapple flavors. The flavor combination is available now for a limited time only in a retro-inspired orange-on-white package design.

“Fans have thirsted for the return of this popular Sprite tropical flavor for years, and it’s great to finally bring it back to reward their enthusiasm. I can’t think of a better way to let them know that we’re listening,” says Kimberly Paige, vice president of sparkling brands, sprite and flavors at Coca-Cola North America. “The blend of lemon-lime, strawberry and pineapple flavors gives the delicious taste of Sprite a fresh twist for summer, and for fans unfamiliar with the tropical mix, it’s a refreshing way to quench their thirst for something new.”

Sprite Tropical Mix joins a number of other product variations Sprite has introduced in recent years to offer consumers innovative flavor mixes. Other popular limited-edition Sprite flavors include the holiday-favorite Sprite Cranberry, which was first introduced in 2013, and Sprite LeBron’s Mix, which was available in 2014 and 2015.

Sprite Tropical Mix will be available in 20-ounce PET bottles and sold in convenience, value and other retail stores nationwide through August, or while supplies last. The limited-edition release will be supported through an integrated marketing campaign, including radio and out-of-home advertising and content on Sprite social channels.
