LAS VEGAS — SymphonyIRI Group has changed its name back to Information Resources Inc., or IRI.

IRI, Information Resources Inc.“Our rebranding signifies our promise to continue providing ingenious solutions and capabilities for our clients to enable growth in a highly fragmented, competitive and complex market,” said Andrew Appel, president and chief executive officer of IRI, at the company’s 2013 Summit here Tuesday.

In other show news, IRI announced the launch of 7-Exchange Next Generation, a solution to help ensure that 7-Eleven and subscribing manufacturer partners work with a single version of data for identical basket-level transactions, promotion optimization and same store and time-of-day information.

Improvements to Costco Collaborative Retail Exchange, a global solution for category, POS and supply chain tracking at Costco Wholesale Corp., and the launch of Costco CRX Mexico, were also announced.
