Tillamook Enters Novelty Ice Cream with Tillabars

1 Min Read

image003Tillamook County Creamery Association enters the premium novelty category with new Tillabars. Tillabars are made with no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup and with the highest quality milk from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones. The four flavor combinations of Tillamook Tillabars – Lemonilla, Old-Fashioned Vanilla, Salted Caramel Swirl and Mooocha Latte – are ready for national distribution with an SRP of $4.99. Each flavor is made with Super Premium Tillamook Ice Creams and dipped in a variety of fine, American specialty white, dark or milk chocolates. For two of the flavors, Lemonilla and Mooocha Latte, Tillamook developed an innovative double-scoop process which includes two flavors of ice cream or sorbet in one bar. Lemonilla is made from a tart lemon sorbet covered in Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream and Mooocha Latte is rich chocolate ice cream inside creamy coffee ice cream. “We’ve been making ice cream since 1947, and with its increasing popularity wanted to provide Tillamook fans our ice cream in a new and fun way,” says Joe Prewett, Tillamook Director of Product Management and Innovation. “Highest quality ingredients, convenience, and super premium indulgence were the base requirements we set out to achieve.” Tillabars can be found in the brand’s new packaging design.
