Southeastern Grocers (SEG) has expanded its own-brand lineup with an array of new ice creams and frozen treats.

Leading off the nine-product rollout are three limited-edition varieties, Jacksonville, Florida-based SEG said Thursday. They include SE Grocers Prestige Beach Bum Coconut Rum and SE Grocers Prestige S’mores Ice Creams plus SE Grocers Pink Lemonade Sherbet.

All three are available at Winn-Dixie, Harveys Supermarket and Fresco y Más grocery stores through Aug. 22.

SEG also has made some year-round additions in the frozen desserts aisle under both the SE Grocers Prestige and SE Grocers brands.

New SE Grocers Prestige offerings include lime fruit bars, key lime and peach frozen yogurts, and raspberry sorbet. Under the SE Grocers label, the latest frozen treat additions are raspberry and red, white and blue sherbets.

Unveiled in 2017, the SE Grocers brand family—now encompassing SE Grocers, SE Grocers Prestige, SE Grocers Essentials and SE Grocers Naturally Better—is aimed at providing savings on a range of everyday products like food and household items versus national-brand counterparts and at the same or better quality.

SE Grocers is the mainline house brand, while SE Grocers Prestige focuses on indulgent, original-recipe foods at competitive prices. SE Essentials is designed to provide everyday quality and value for staple food and nonfood needs. SE Grocers Naturally Better offers natural, free-from and organic products to fit customers’ lifestyle and dietary choices, including dairy- and gluten-free options.

Also on Thursday, SEG said it has rolled out Swēte and Artigiano Bellini wines to Winn-Dixie, Harveys Supermarket and Fresco y Más locations as exclusive brands.

The grocer described Swēte as a still wine variety with a sweet flavor profile, offered in berry, black and peach varieties. Meanwhile, Artigiano Bellini brings a fresh fruit sparkling wine available in peach, strawberry and mango flavors, available only in the retailer’s Florida stores.

In support of the exclusive-brand wine launch, SEG is offering Winn-Dixie, Harveys and Fresco y Más customers in Florida and Alabama 10% off when they buy four or more 750-milliliter or 1.5-liter bottles of wine.

Overall, SEG operates about 420 supermarkets under the Winn-Dixie, Harveys and Fresco y Más banners in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi.

In April 2022, SEG unveiled plans to shift to more sustainable packaging across its own-brand portfolio by the end of 2028. Under the effort, the retailer aims to phase out the use of polystyrene and making all packaging reusable, recyclable or industrially compostable. All private-brand packaging also will include an average of 30% post-consumer recycled material.

Besides the SE Grocers brand family, SEG’s own-brand roster includes the Fisherman’s Wharf, Lip Lickin’ Chicken, Chek, Hickory Sweet and Whiskers & Tails, WD Brand, TopCare and Tippy Toes by TopCare labels.
