MOKENA, Ill. — Brookhaven Marketplace, a three-store food retailer based in Darien, Ill., has installed the S4G Fresh Foods kiosk system in the deli of its store here.

“Our delis get very busy and we have some long lines, so we had to do something,” said John P. Bertakis, general manager of Brookhaven Marketplace, in a statement. The kiosk, from ADUSA, Lombard, Ill., “is a cost-effective alternative to remodeling, or adding extra capacity, so we’re very excited about what this allows us to provide for our customers."

The kiosk will be evaluated further before a decision is made to deploy it in additional Brookhaven stores.
