SEATTLE — Organic To Go last week announced the appointment of Andrew Jacobs, former director of U.S. food service operations for Costco Wholesale, to the position of senior vice president of operations. At Costco Jacobs oversaw the development and expansion of the company's food court and service deli departments to over $500 million in sales. “Organic To Go grew revenues by 61 percent last year alone, and we now have 13 freestanding cafes, as well as over 40 other locations in two states selling our menu selections,” said Jason Brown, founder and chief executive officer of Organic To Go. “Having Andy on board will add important bandwidth to our company as we expand and mature. I am pleased to have a seasoned executive, with such deep skills in the food-service sector, join our leadership team.”
