Schnuck Markets has rolled out more than a dozen Sugarfire smoked meats and side dishes to stores under a new partnership with barbecue restaurant chain Sugarfire Smoke House.

St. Louis-based Schnucks said Friday that the launch includes Sugarfire’s beef brisket, brisket burnt ends, pulled pork, sliced turkey and pulled chicken, along with a range of sides such as mac & cheese, baked beans, cole slaw and potato salad. Full- and half-rack and four-rib packs also will be available for purchase.

The Sugarfire products — produced exclusively for Schnucks — are now available at 108 Schnucks supermarkets in Missouri, Illinois and Indiana. Sugarfire’s regional barbecue sauces, sold at Schnucks since 2015, will be on display near the meats and sides, offering customers a one-stop shop.

“Our company is St. Louis proud, so we’re incredibly excited to partner with another hometown company like Sugarfire to offer their award-winning barbeque to our customers throughout the Midwest,” Schnucks President and Chief Operating Officer Dave Peacock said in a statement.

Late last year, the St. Louis-based company announced plans to open new locations in Edwardsville, Ill., and in Springfield and Wentzville, Mo. Founded by Chef Mike Johnson, Carolyn Downs and Charlie Downs, the BBQ chain is known for its brisket, pulled pork, ribs and signature sandwiches.
