Brookshire Grocery Co.’s board of directors has promoted four of its leaders to officer roles.

​Brookshire Grocery Co.’s board of directors has promoted four of its leaders to officer roles.

Kyle McCoy was promoted to EVP, chief financial officer. McCoy, who joined Brookshire in 2008 as an accountant, was most recently SVP-treasurer. He has also served as manager and director of corporate taxation.

Holly Shotts is now VP-controller. Shotts joined the company as an accountant in 1992. She served in various accounting roles and was named director of financial accounting in 2003.

Cindy Murphy was promoted to VP of IT. Murphy started with BGC 35 years ago as a cashier, and worked her way up in various accounting and IT roles. She was named director of corporate systems in 2011.

Curtis Wiggins was also named VP of IT. He has served as director of retail business systems management since 2008. He was previously a programmer analyst and also worked in development of operating systems, databases, applications and networks.

“It’s exciting to see these deserving leaders promoted to roles that will help move our company forward,” said Brad Brookshire, Chairman and CEO, in a statement. “Together they have over 100 years of knowledge and expertise at BGC which will be instrumental in guiding our company for the future.”
