Buehler's names Davidson to store operations post

Buehler’s Fresh Foods said Wednesday that it has appointed Mike Davidson as VP of store operations.

Davidson will work closely with Buehler’s leadership team and store managers, and report to president and COO Dan Shanahan.

“We welcome Mike to the Buehler team,” Shanahan, said in a statement. “His extensive experience and broad knowledge of retail grocery operations made him a natural fit for this position.”

Davidson brings nearly 30 years of operational leadership experience, including brand development/execution, operations management, merchandising experience, customer service, and foodservice execution with retailers as Price Chopper Supermarkets, Tops Friendly Markets, Finast and Ahold USA, Buehler's said. He has significant experience in training, food service and fresh goods, as well as team building.

Buehler’s, based in Wooster, Ohio, is a division of E&H Family Group, operating 14 Beuhler's stores and 18 Ace hardware stores.
