Kroger taps new Columbus division president
Kroger’s Columbus Division president Bruce Macaulay is retiring after 42 years with the company.

Kroger’s Columbus (Ohio) Division president Bruce Macaulay is retiring after 42 years with the company.
"Joe is an accomplished leader with a diverse background and expertise in our fresh departments," said Mike Ellis, the Cincinnati-based chain's president and COO, in a media statement.

"His strong values and engagement with our associates will ensure continued growth and success in our Columbus division. We are looking forward to Joe's continued leadership."
Joe Grieshaber, current president of Kroger’s Dillons banner, will replace Macaulay. Grieshaber is also a veteran of Kroger, having been with the company for 32 years since he joined as a store management trainee in Nashville. Grieshaber has also held the roles of meat merchandiser, district manager, vice president of merchandising and group vice president of perishables merchandising and procurement.
