Managers Perez, Keating join Allegiance

Allegiance Retail Services, on Wednesday announced the addition of Angel Perez and Brendan Keating as field merchandisers.

Allegiance Retail Services, Iselin, N.J., on Wednesday announced the addition of Angel Perez and Brendan Keating as field merchandisers.

Perez, named grocery field merchandiser, will assume the responsibility of providing guidance and grocery merchandising recommendations to the Allegiance members. He began his career as an assistant manager for Morton Sloan Supermarkets, and worked 11 years as a reset coordinator for Krasdale. During the past two years, Perez was the reset coordinator at Key Food.

New produce field manager Keating will provide direction and produce merchandising recommendations to the Allegiance members. Keating began his career as a produce manager for Kings, where he was named department manager of the year. He then worked five years as a produce/floral merchandiser at ShopRite prior to being promoted to perishable assistant manager. Most recently, Keating was the produce sales counselor at Bozzuto's.

“I am proud to welcome both Angel and Brendan to the Allegiance team,” Dan Dinkowitz, director of member services said in a statement. “Their previous records of success, coupled with their extensive background in grocery and produce will be an invaluable asset to the Allegiance membership and stores.” Allegiance, Iselin, N.J., provides services for affiliated independent retailers including Foodtown stores.
