Weis names Rogers VP, controller

Weis Markets on Monday said it has promoted Jeanette Rogers to VP and corporate controller.

In this role, Rogers is responsible for the company’s financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission, maintaining and enforcing all accounting policies, overseeing its accounting department including tax, payroll and treasury functions, and directing the budget and financial analytics department. She will continue as chief accounting officer and assistant treasurer. She reports to Scott Frost, SVP and CFO.

Prior to her promotion, Rogers was the company’s corporate controller. She joined Weis in 2013. Earlier in her career, she worked at Foot Locker as director of finance.
