Following up on the announcement of a new president, King Kullen Grocery Co. has promoted three longtime executives.
Hauppauge, N.Y.-based King Kullen said late yesterday that Tracey Cullen, 41, has been named vice president of corporate strategy and initiatives. She also was elected to the board of directors. Previously vice president of marketing, Cullen is the great granddaughter of King Kullen founder Michael J. Cullen.
Meanwhile, Michael Infantolino, 46, has been appointed as president of natural and organic supermarket banner Wild by Nature, an independent subsidiary of King Kullen. He formerly served as vice president and general manager of Wild by Nature.
Also, Albert Hesse, 65, now serves as vice president of King Kullen Pharmacies after being promoted from director of pharmacy. The retailer operates eight pharmacy locations.

Last week, King Kullen announced the appointment of Joseph Brown as president and chief operating officer, taking over from the retiring Brian Cullen and J. Donald Kennedy, who led the Long Island, N.Y., supermarket chain under a dual structure.
In addition, Bernard P. Kennedy was named executive vice president, chief administrative officer and secretary. The promotions were part of board of directors elections on June 3. Kennedy is a third-generation member of the King Kullen founding family and a son of the late Bernard D. Kennedy, former co-chairman and president of the grocer.
King Kullen operates 34 stores in Long Island’s Nassau and Suffolk counties, including 29 King Kullen supermarkets and five Wild by Nature stores.
