Albertsons LLC Launches ‘Road Trip’ Contest
BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons LLC here said it is launching a month-long contest at Albertsons Market stores — with a new car as a prize — asking customers to share their "best road trip ever" by posting photos, videos and essays on the chain's Facebook page.

BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons LLC here said it is launching a month-long contest at Albertsons Market stores — with a new car as a prize — asking customers to share their "best road trip ever" by posting photos, videos and essays on the chain's Facebook page.
Every time an entry is submitted, "miles" will be added that will increase the value of the Ford car that will be awarded. Each photo will add five "miles," each essay 10 miles and each video 15 miles. The public will begin voting for their favorite entries Sept. 1 in the three categories — photos, videos and essay — with Albertsons selecting a single winner overall from the top five finalists in each category at the end of September.

Corporate sponsors for the contest encompass Tender Choice and the National Pork Board; J.M. Smucker Co.; Just Born, makers of Mike and Ike; Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co.; and Fresh Express.
