To bolster coronavirus safety measures, Target expanded curbside service for the holidays, as well as contactless checkout designed to ease COVID-19 concerns. In another COVID-19 prevention move, Lidl plans to install hospital-grade air filtration in all of its U.S. stores by the end of 2020. Albertsons also introduced Albertsons Pay, a new zero-touch checkout experience available through its updated "just for U" loyalty app.
