FAIRFAX, Va. -- A new Whole Foods Market store scheduled to open here next month will include five separate seating areas for each of five in-store prepared-foods sections: Asian, barbecue, Italian, seafood and specialty sandwiches, according to a report in the Washington Business Journal. In addition, the store will offer a wine-tasting room where customers can use “wine debit cards.” The 65,000-square-foot store will be the 15th in the Washington, D.C., market for the retailer, which is based in Austin, Texas. The company could not be reached for comment on the new store.
