Nominations Open for SN Food Safety Award

SN is seeking nominations for its 2010 Food Safety Innovation Award. The award, in its inaugural year, will recognize one food retailer for exceptional leadership in promoting food safety standards and practices in its stores, distribution centers and food-production facilities.

SN is seeking nominations for its 2010 Food Safety Innovation Award.

The award, in its inaugural year, will recognize one food retailer for exceptional leadership in promoting food safety standards and practices in its stores, distribution centers and food-production facilities. Retailers of any size are eligible, including those that are not self-distributing.

Nominations are welcome from anyone in the food retailing industry, including retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors, brokers, analysts, consultants and others; retail companies may nominate themselves.

The deadline for nominations is Nov. 1. The winner will be announced on Nov. 15 and profiled in the Nov. 15 issue of SN.
