FoodMaxx has unveiled a new mobile app that seeks to offer shoppers solutions for bigger savings throughout its 53 stores in California’s Bay Area and Central Valley. The new app is intuitive, easy to use and provides shoppers with digital coupons and special offers to increase savings, says the Modesto, Calif.-based company.
“Our priority is to provide FoodMaxx shoppers with the very best values, day in and day out, and this new user-friendly app provides an e-commerce experience that is focused on delivering even more savings for our value conscious shoppers,” said Barbara Walker, chief marketing officer, The Save Mart Companies, in a statement. “This debut is just the beginning—with frequent app updates showcasing new functionality such as click and collect, subscription delivery to doorstep, and contactless checkout, [this app is] designed to make omni-channel shopping even easier for our FoodMaxx customers.”
Grounded in consumer insights and developed in partnership with Swiftly, a digital platform for retailers, the new FoodMaxx mobile app offers shoppers, what the company says is, an innovative experience for seamless ordering and digital coupon download through their mobile devices. The updated FoodMaxx mobile app is available to download at the Apple App and Google Play stores.
“We are excited that our technology platform is helping power The Save Mart Companies new user-friendly apps, enabling them to create new and engaging ways to drive loyalty and engaging mobile experiences,” said Sean Turner, co-founder and CTO of Swiftly. “The Save Mart Companies is a great example of a brick-and-mortar retailer building strong digital customer relationships, while unlocking new forms of advertising revenue and incremental sales."
With 53 stores throughout the Bay Area and the Central Valley, FoodMaxx strives to appeal to shoppers who know how to stretch their grocery-budget dollars.
“The store offers a price impact, value format that suits the needs of the community and provides customers with the right items at the right prices throughout the entire month, especially when food budgets are very limited at the end of the month,” says the company. The new mobile app is another resource for FoodMaxx shoppers to find additional savings with special offers and digital coupons.
FoodMaxx describes itself as a “non-conventional price impact grocery store” that beats competitors through “innovative procurement and hyper-efficient operations,” including its ability to buy in bulk, stock shelves directly from delivery trucks, and having customers bag their own groceries. FoodMaxx says it passes these additional savings to its customers.
