The Kroger Co. is joining in on the Amazon Prime Day battle, using its new wine delivery service as leverage.

The retailer quietly uncorked its Kroger Wine program in recent months and is offering a new Black Friday in July deal that focuses "on a product you can’t get from Amazon this Prime Day," a company official told Delish

Kroger Wine offers curated packs of four, six or 12 bottles and is giving customers $40 off 12-packs through July 17 and 15% off white wine collections. Delivery is free for all Kroger Wine orders.

The Ship-based service is available in 19 states, including regions that the retailer does not have a physical presence in, such as New Hampshire.

The wine collection found online is exclusive to the delivery program and cannot be purchased in stores.

Customers can also sign up for Kroger's Wine Club, which delivers a 12-pack that was put together by sommeliers every 12 weeks.
