Lidl US now has a new private-label produce line called Peak Harvest, the hard discounter announced this week.

Peak Harvest products, available in over 175 Lidl US stores, includes over 50 products, as well as ready-to-eat salads offered daily.

“Peak Harvest is a produce line that supports healthy eating by making it affordable for our customers,” Stefan Schwarz, chief product officer for Lidl US, said in a statement.

As part of its new product launch, Lidl has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network and will donate 1% of Peak Harvest retail sales this month, up to $250,000, the grocery retailer said in a statement. Funds will benefit local member hospitals across Lidl’s East Coast markets.

“Donations from partners like Lidl help make sure that our member children’s hospitals can provide services and programs to benefit kids and families,” said Teri Nestel, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, in a statement. “We are thrilled to partner on the January campaign to help change kids’ health to change the future—for all of us.”

The partnership aims to elevate healthy eating and its ability to change kids’ health, the Arlington, Virginia-based division of Germany’s Schwarz Group said in a statement.

“We could not imagine a better way to launch this new produce line than by fundraising together with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to support healthy eating initiatives across their network of children’s hospitals along the East Coast. The roadmap to healthy living always begins with a healthy diet," Schwarz said.

Lidl US operates 170 stores across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York.
